Welcome to the Merced/Mariposa County Asthma Coalition!

The MMCAC is a community-based health organization that was formed in 1997 by a group of local respiratory therapists and nurses that were brought together by a mutual concern of rising asthma incidence throughout the community.

Now, as a community we need to better understand the relationship of environmental triggers to the increased instance of asthma attacks. We need to work to reduce these triggers, recognize the signs of an asthma attack an dmake sure any one with asthma has an action plan.

Our mission, controlling asthma through awareness and education.
